Job descriptionKeep the warehouse and laydown yard organized and clean. Fulfill daily material requests for crews. Pick up and deliver materials as needed. Load and unload reel and flatbed trailers. Secure loads as required by TXDOT regulations. Perform regular inventory checks. Operate a forklift. Work long hours in various weather conditions. Carry out other duties as assigned by management. At least 1 year of relevant experience. Forklift experience is required. Ability to stand, stop, and lift up to 50 lbs. Clean driving record. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Safety-conscious mindset. High school diploma or GED. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Possible exposure to wet / humid conditions, cold, heat, and humidity. Noise levels can be loud at times. Frequent exposure to slow- or fast-moving traffic.
