CPLC Parenting Arizona and CPLC Parenting Nevada provide family support services statewide through prevention, intervention and treatment programs. These services promote strong families by empowering parents to thrive, thereby creating communities where parents have the skills to raise healthy and successful children.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
As a Youth Outreach Specialist , you will play a critical role in helping youth affected by homelessness reconnect to stability and safety. You’ll provide immediate case management, linking young people to essential services and resources that guide them toward permanent housing and independence.
You will :
Conduct street outreach in the community where homeless youth congregate.
Provide program information, care packs, and resource referrals.
Support youth in navigating systems and accessing housing, employment, and healthcare.
Collaborate closely with the outreach team to ensure effective, compassionate support.
Empower youth to build resilience and achieve their goals for a brighter future.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a compassionate, resourceful, and motivated advocate for youth. You thrive in fast-paced, community-centered work and bring strong communication and problem-solving skills to every interaction. You meet challenges with empathy and purpose.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- High School Diploma or GED required and 2+ years of related experience; or
- Associates Degree in appropriate field of study and 1 year of related experience; or
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study and 1 year of related experience;
- Experience providing direct services to individuals who have experienced trauma
- Experience providing case management services in a crisis environment
- Related work experience preferred.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have current Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to have within 60 days of employment
- Must pass a background screening prior to start
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish language is required.
- Valid AZ driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to show proof of registration / insurance. Must be 21 years of age to drive on behalf of CPLC, Inc.
- Must pass background screening prior to start
- Level One Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain fingerprint clearance or ability to have within 60 days of employment; must maintain clearance.
