Job Description : YOUTH PROGRAM FACILITATOR
Hours : Part-time, Non-Exempt
Reports to : Programs Coordinator
Compensation : $16.00 starting, with opportunity for $16.50 post-training
Bouldering Project's mission is to foster meaningful human connection with the most inspiring and inclusive climbing, movement, and community spaces. We care deeply about humans. We create joyful places and pathways for climbing, fitness, yoga, and social experiences that inspire people to challenge themselves and engage in a lifestyle centered around health, friendship, and purpose.
General Responsibilities
- Show up, be on time, and be in the right mindset for the program you are facilitating
- Embody MBP values of being welcoming and supportive, being positive and constructive in all circumstances
- Build and foster a strong sense of community among participants
- Learn and teach curriculum with authenticity and enthusiasm
- Think critically about logistics of programs, ensuring best experience for participants
- Regularly communicate with children, parents, front desk staff
- Ensure all needed documents are collected for participants for each event
- Be trained in Approach calendar functions as well as basic POS functions
- Supervise and engage children ages 4+ in a climbing environment
- Facilitate activities / games maintaining a sense of purpose regarding participants' learning (i.e. leadership, teamwork, grit, growth mindset, goal setting, etc.)

Working Conditions
Many duties require the availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and events, including evenings and weekends. Duties often occur before and after regular business hours.
