Job descriptionPosition Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols. Work in varying environments and conditions as required by the site. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. Collaborate with site personnel and / or emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
