Job description
Excellent career opportunity with Local Government Agency, Valley Water District. The District has an immediate opening for a Water Utility Worker II and is seeking a knowledgeable, motivated individual to be part of a team whose goal is to provide safe and quality installation, repairs and preventative maintenance to the District’s water system. The Water Utility Worker II will perform varied manual work and operate heavy and specialized equipment to maintain and / or repair water distribution and water treatment systems. This position will be required to be in the on-call rotation (every 4-6 weeks) and must reside within 30 minutes travel to the District office.
Full-time, Permanent Position – 40 hours per week
Monday – Friday
7 : 00am-3 : 30pm
5,727-$8,526 / mo., DOE
Position is immediately available. Open until filled.
Prior to hiring, a Criminal History Background Check will be conducted.
