Our mission is to advocate for and provide support and services to people with developmental and other disabilities, emphasizing choice and full community engagement. TheDirect Support Professionalprovides self-care training and assistance in daily living to individuals with developmental disabilities residing in a group home setting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned : + Support individuals to ensure their safety and well-being. + Observe, document, and communicate pertinent information such as behaviors, nursing, nutrition, clinical issues, etc., to facilitate assessment and development of treatment goals and to ensure care for individuals. + Administer medications as prescribed by Physician, per regulations.
