Responsibilities and Duties :
- Surface Preparation : Prepare surfaces by priming, sanding, sealing, and patching, utilizing a variety of painting materials including varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing, and heat-resistant finishes.
- Color Matching : Cross-check colors and confirm supplied products to match job files.
- Application Skills : Apply materials to new construction, existing, and remodeled buildings with precision and expertise.
- Professional Representation : Exhibit a professional demeanor and effectively represent the company while working at client job sites.
- Blueprint Interpretation : Understand and interpret blueprints and scope specifications to ensure accurate execution of painting tasks.
- Documentation : Complete required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Change Orders : Understand the importance of and proficiently complete field change orders and submittals.
- Equipment Proficiency : Trained and capable with multi-level scaffolding, extension ladders, and spray systems.
- Maintenance : Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned trucks, ensuring they are in optimal condition; always keep a clean and safe work area.
- Extensive Knowledge : Possess and apply in-depth knowledge of various painting materials and application methods.
