Job Overview

Our Connector Business Unit in Olive Branch, MS is looking for a Production Supervisor who will oversee 1st Shift production processes as well as supervise hourly employees while pursuing continuous improvement in areas such as productivity increases, improving effectivity while minimizing cost.

A Day In The Life

• Direct supervisor for Machinists and Machine Operators in assigned area.
• Assignment of daily tasks / activities for machine shop.
• Ensure direct reports are trained and up-to-date in required processes and tasks.
• Maintain cross training matrix for direct reports and actively address gaps in training thresholds.
• Talent management of direct reports including development of employee performance objectives and execution of review process.
• Drive towards zero safety incidents and promote safety first culture.
• Drive towards zero quality issues in assigned area.
• Active management of environmental, health, and safety compliance and risk in assembly areas.
• Identifies and participates in continuous improvement activities in the Machine Shop.
