The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Sourcing Specialist , working in Aerospace and Defense industry in SeaTac, Washington, United States .

  • Partner with internal and external customers in the execution of the sourcing process including assisting in project assessment, developing project / sourcing strategy, evaluating supplier capabilities, and negotiating contracts to achieve financial and quality objectives
  • Maintain strong working relationships and communications with customers and suppliers
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and managing contracts Interface with all levels within the Company and Supplier organizations
  • Work closely with Procurement Buyers and the Sourcing Team to identify sourcing opportunities
  • Manages entire life cycle for commodities, including source selection, vendor oversight and asset acquisition / disposition
  • Ensure supplier meets or exceeds quality, cost and performance objectives

Our Client

Experience Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of buying, sourcing, or related experience, required;
  • 3 years preferred Experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Strong team-building and project management skills preferred
  • Experience in vendor oversight, including performance management / continuous improvement preferred
