Description
Assistance Plus has an immediate opening for an HR Specialist to join their growing agency! If you're looking to work at an agency that values its employees and enjoy recruitment / onboarding, consider applying!
The Human Resources Specialist (HRS) will support the employment life cycle and the employment process and systems by executing the day-to-day tasks required to provide exceptional customer service to all employees. This position will assess and anticipate HR-related needs, communicate proactively with supervisors, and formulate partnerships with individual managers to deliver value-added service that reflects the mission and objectives of Assistance Plus. This position has a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, facilitating weekly orientation for all new hires, processing background checks, updating materials related to recruitment / onboarding, and maintaining a presence on social media.
This position will be required to meet the requirements of a regular office schedule, working five days per week Monday-Friday, between the hours of 7 : 30am and 4 : 00pm.
Qualifications
Position Requirements :
- A minimum of two years of related experience in a human resources administrative capacity is required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid State of Maine driver's license and automobile insurance coverage of $50k / $100k
- SHRM-CP or PHR strongly preferred
- Must have intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- A positive attitude with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with the full employee life cycle
