Job description

The Implementation Consultant operates as a knowledge leader in the industry and is responsible for delivering exceptional quality consulting, configuration, and training activities.

Implementation Consultants work with our solutions that help courts and public safety organizations of all sizes better protect and serve the public. By helping provide solutions that improve efficiency and response time, you can help serve our citizens and make communities safer.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate client business procedures and provide recommendations to improve product and business efficiencies
  • Reengineer and implement business processes around the usage of software applications
  • Collaborate with colleagues and managers to design, implement and proactively manage a superior software experience for our clients.
  • Host client-facing meetings to understand and document clients' business processes and configure applications based on business needs and accepted best practices
  • Lead or facilitate configuration sprints, and identify opportunities for software enhancement
  • Provide in-person and remote training for software applications to both new and existing customers.
  • Create and maintain technical and business process documentation as business needs require
  • Independently keep abreast of new functionality and learn new product modules, implementation methodologies, and court technology concepts.
  • 5-20% travel is required
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to-time.

Qualifications

  • BS / BA degree in related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • 2+ years experience of software implementation consulting or transferrable work with external clients preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure, in an ambiguous environment, and problem solve with a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity and ease with computer systems and common software products.
  • Strong problem-solving and execution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skill, teamwork, strong attention to detail, and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work well under pressure
  • Required to undergo and satisfactorily pass a fingerprint background check in accordance with CJIS requirements.
  • Tyler is subject to regulations, guidelines, and / or client requirements relating to the qualifications of Tyler personnel performing certain client work. Because of the nature of this position, it is a requirement that the candidate can successfully pass a federal background check at the time an offer is extended and over the course of employment with Tyler.
