Painter Technicians will need to have experience in all aspects of production painting in an industrial environment including but not limited to repairing paint jobs, preparing surfaces to be painted, removing parts that are not to be painted, and controlling factors that determine the success of painting, along with maintaining inventory, inspecting materials to identify problems / defects.

Responsibilities of Position :

• Various painting projects may include but are not limited to various types of fleet vehicles, containers, compactors, equipment.
• Prepping duties including sanding, scraping, painting, and placing decals.
• Maintenance of truck pressure washer including clean up and inventorying supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company, OSHA and ANSI standards.
• Ensure all safety decals are on completed jobs.
• General maintenance and other related duties.
• Maintain painting and / or decaling supplies.
• Complete required inventory and paperwork utilizing computer system.
• Utilize standard shop hand tools, measuring devices, and equipment.
• Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
• May assist in other projects or areas of the shop as needed.
• Vehicle body repair work.
• Specific to Norwood Location
• Perform all tasks in a safe manner, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
