Location : North Kansas City, Kansas

Job Type : On-Call, Flexible Hours

Hourly Pay : 14-24$

Job Details :

School setting experience preferred

Certified in DESE preferred

Fingerprints prior to starting is required for districtÂ

Start : ASAP

Responsibilities :

Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and implementation.

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with special needs, in academic and non-academic activities.

Support students in following behavioral and academic goals.

Monitor and manage student behavior in accordance with the teacher’s instructions and school policies.

Provide assistance during instructional activities, including reinforcing lesson plans and supporting students' learning.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree or higher preferred).

Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude when working with students with diverse needs.

Ability to maintain student confidentiality and adhere to school policies.
