Job Opportunity : Assembler
A client of ours in Tualatin is looking to add an Assembler to their team.
About the Company : Founded in 1991, this company has cornered the market in designing, manufacturing, and marketing detachable scope mounting systems.
Permanent hire chance post-contract hours
Responsibilities :
Assembles assigned product parts on the assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.
Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
Operates the laser machine when needed under close supervision.
Adheres to company policies, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
Maintains a clean and organized work area for efficient manufacturing.
Reads work orders and identifies priorities to meet the production schedule.
Wear personal protective equipment as per training guidelines and company policies.
Assembles parts, attaches components using tools, and tests to form complete units or sub-assemblies.
Places finished products into point-of-sale packaging according to deadlines and sales goals.
Performs repetitive tasks under the close supervision of the Assembly Department Lead. Requirements :
High school diploma or GED required.
No previous experience required – training provided.
Must be able to read work orders.
Ability to function effectively with repetitive and routine work.
Ability to speak and understand English.
Basic computer skills required to print labels.
Good written and oral communication skills preferred.
Ability to move through approximately 20,000 square foot buildings.
Ability to regularly lift and / or move up to ten pounds, occasionally lift and / or move up to forty pounds.
Apply common sense understanding to conduct written or oral instructions.
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 5AM – 1 : 30PM
Pay : $17 / hr.
