Job Title : Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable driver to operate a 26ft box truck for deliveries. The route from Monday to Wednesday covers the Montana area, while Thursday and Friday will be in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. This role involves multiple overnight trips each week, focusing solely on driving. In the future, the routes will be split among two drivers, allowing for more time in the shop.

Responsibilities

Pull orders, package items, palletize, and load will-call and outgoing shipments onto trucks.

Review delivery manifests and verify every item for accuracy, managing paperwork effectively.

Assist customers in identifying all delivered items and obtain verifying signatures.

Receive inventory and assist with quarterly inventory checks.

Operate forklifts for loading and unloading trucks.

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Essential Skills

DOT medical certification for non-CDL driving.

Strong attention to detail, especially in managing paperwork.

Excellent customer service skills.

Forklift operation experience.

Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50lbs frequently, with some products weighing up to 90-120lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with warehouse operations such as order picking, loading / unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and palletizing.

Proficiency with RF scanners.

Work Environment

You will be working in a small warehouse environment with approximately 4-5 other people. The role involves driving a 26ft box truck equipped with air brakes. The route begins on Thursday morning and includes travel through various locations such as Wenatchee, Yakima, the Tri-cities, and Oregon, before returning through Colfax.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 / hr.
