Groundskeeper / Light Maintenance Technician

Location : Link Apartments® Broad Ave, Memphis, TN

Department : Multifamily

Schedule : Part-Time

Reports to : Property Manager

About the Role :

Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, being outside, and keeping things looking great? Were looking for a Groundskeeper / Light Maintenance Technician to help us keep our property clean, safe, and well-maintained.

This part-time role is perfect for someone with experience in light maintenance and general upkeep who takes pride in their work and wants to make a difference in our community.

What Youll Do :

Keep outdoor areas, hallways, and public spaces clean and trash-free
Perform basic maintenance work like :

Changing light bulbs

Small plumbing repairs

Painting and drywall touch-ups

Replacing air filters

Help with cleaning and preparing apartments for new residents

Assist with basic pool upkeep (well train you if needed!)

Use cleaning tools like vacuums and carpet cleaners

Make sure tools and supplies are in good working condition

Report anything that looks unsafe or broken

Work closely with the maintenance team to complete tasks quickly and safely

What Were Looking For :

At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or groundskeeping preferred

Comfortable with basic plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and electrical work

Able to lift 5075 lbs and use ladders and hand tools

Good attitude and a team player

Someone who takes pride in a job well done

Friendly and respectful with residents and team members

Pool experience is a plus (but not required)
