responsibilities :
- Update and maintain HSE policies and programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive measures to promote a safety-based culture.
- Review new products, processes, and equipment for potential hazards.
- Conduct internal and external safety audits.
- Familiarity with OSHA reporting and guidelines.
- Lead accident investigations and identify improvement plans.
- Serve as the local HSE subject matter expert and represent the site at Group HSE meetings.
- Manage emergency response preparedness actions for the site.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver training curriculum and content.
- Collaborate with third-party training providers to arrange specialty training.
- Prepare and implement training budget and ensure milestones are met.
- Monitor and report on key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the training program.
- Stay updated on training trends, developments, and best practices.
