Description

Sportiqe is one of the fastest growing premium apparel brands in the world. As we grow we need sharp, organized, and business minded individuals to join our team. The Product Development Specialist will collaborate closely with our Design, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure we manufacture the best possible apparel product for our SMU (special make-up) line. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have the ability to problem-solve as needed and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Direct experience in the fashion apparel industry is required, particularly in the B2B sector. This role is full-time on-site at our Tempe headquarters.

Attention to detail with technical design is key! The ideal candidates will have proven experience in fashion and apparel product development including garment construction, fit, sketches, and tech packs.

WHO YOU ARE FOR THE TEAM

• Degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Fashion Development or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in apparel design / development
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, especially cut-and-sew knits, sketches, and creating tech packs
• Aptitude for working independently and in conjunction with teams, both domestically and internationally
• Knowledge of the entire product life cycle process from design handoff through production handoff
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Previous PLM (product life-cycle management) experience required; Gerber Yunique preferred
• Working knowledge of design software, CRM systems, Microsoft, and Google Suite
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time with a sense of priority for deadlines
• Strong follow-up skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Graphic design experience a plus
