WAREHOUSE CLERK

Our client delivers award-winning refrigerated logistics through a national warehouse network totaling more than 50 million cubic feet of multi-temperature-controlled storage.

SUMMARY :

Serve as the first point of contact for drivers which needs a candidate who can work well under pressure, in a fast paced environment while still maintaining excellent attention to detail.

PAY : up to $21 / hr for well-qualified candidates

AVAILABLE SCHEDULE : Sunday - Thursday 1 : 00 pm to 9 : 30 pm

DUTIES and RESPONSIBLITIES

Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.

Plan and direct drivers’ assignments including checking them in, assigning their doors, and checking them out once the load is complete.

Assist with receiving, counting, and logging payments received by carriers

Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping / receiving documents are completed accurately and timely manner

Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system

Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no-shows, and / or unscheduled arrivals

Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary

Accurately enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler

May answer phone calls, and need to direct clients and customers to appropriate departments.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year of administrative / customer service experience within the last 2 years.

6 months or more of work history in a light industrial / warehouse environment is highly preferred.

Basic math skills / ability to count payments quickly and accurately

Excellent communication skills to comfortably interact with a variety of people.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work infrequently in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit or up to 100 Fahrenheit with PPE

Able to lift, bend, stand, sit, and move consistently and frequently during shift.

Must be comfortable with various noise levels
