Dealer Relationship Specialist - Indirect Lending
This position offers significant flexibility as a mostly remote role, requiring in-person sales calls and dealership visits as expectations. The formal office location can be established within the designated territory, which includes York, PA; Lancaster, PA; Hershey, PA; and Hanover, PA. This structure allows the incumbent to maintain a strong presence in the region while effectively developing and nurturing dealership relationships.
Position Title : Dealer Relationship Specialist

Reports To : Manager of Indirect Lending
Position Overview :
This position is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with franchise and independent automobile and light truck dealerships for the purpose of purchasing from these dealerships retail auto and light truck consumer loan notes. The incumbent is responsible for meeting sales goals and objectives, maintaining an effective call program and enhancing the visibility of the Bank's indirect loan products and programs with an emphasis on maintaining and increasing volume.
Primary Responsibilities :
Develops and maintains relationships that produce new retail consumer loans within Bank underwriting and pricing structure and maintaining a professional and attentive relationship with scheduled and frequent visits.
Acquires and maintains a detailed knowledge of each dealership's volume, exceptions, deficiencies, delinquency, efficiencies and loss ratios and responds to the dealerships appropriately with this information.
Resolves customer problems including outstanding titles, outstanding drafts, reserve, funding issues and regulatory issues.
Submits and maintains current, timely and detailed records of calling activities.
Develops and maintains a strong knowledge of competitor programs including pricing and specials.
Develops and maintains a strong knowledge of regulatory, policy and procedure of both industry and Bank policies.
Develops, produces and assists in the production of management reports. Participates in the analysis of these reports responding with appropriate actions for the maintenance of a productive, profitable and efficient relationship with the dealership.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
