About Rivian
Are you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.
Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.
As a company, we constantly challenge what's possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.
Role Summary
The Regional Field Partner is a high-impact cross-functional role that integrates the program development and field operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience with our field service teams. Our approach to service strives to be as innovative as the vehicles we produce.
In this role, you will partner closely with areas of the business that include Field Operations, Service Parts, Service Engineering / Quality, Service Support, Mobile Service, Roadside, Delivery, and Digital Products. The objective is that you become the subject matter expert on what resources are available to each of Rivian's Service Centers and partner with them to bring feedback to the teams building these programs. You will regularly engage and capture areas of improvement with each of our service locations to ensure that our field teams have the support they need and that the resources put in place achieve the maximum impact.
You will be required to travel regularly throughout your region in North America to ensure that our service field teams are poised for success and ready to deliver superior customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Understand the 'why' behind each program strategy developed while simultaneously keeping an open mind to the reality in the field and using this information to train and coach within your region at service locations.
- Ability to be supportive and available to your region, capturing adoption of programs and offering instant coaching with your deep understanding of the programs available to the field.
- Above average communication and organizational skills, both in person and with documentation for field wide distribution.
- Able to identify gaps in knowledge by observing and a desire to engage and coach with a goal of continuous improvement.
- Partner with your leader, field teams and numerous program leads to share information from the field to improve processes.
- Ability to educate your team members with the most up to date and often technical knowledge.
- Stay agile to adjust focus as the business needs.
