Primary Responsibilities

HDR Engineering is looking for a Bridge EIT / Inspector to join our National Infrastructure Inspection Team. The Bridge EIT / Inspector will be expected to perform local and national bridge inspections and occasional office engineering (design, CADD, analysis). They will also assist the lead inspector in performing bridge inspections and preparing reports in accordance with NBIS (National Bridge Inspection Standards) on a regular basis.

In the role of Bridge EIT / Inspector, we'll count on you to :

• Participate in local and national bridge inspections, develop inspection reports, and perform structural load rating calculations
• Work in a team environment and independently while challenging yourself to acquire knowledge and experience in engineering
• Support the bridge design group and other disciplines by applying structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of structural designs
• Perform other duties as needed
