From evaluating blueprints to coordinating with subcontractors, you'll play a vital part in ensuring successful project execution. Key Responsibilities :

• Review and analyze project drawings, specs, and related documents to understand the full scope of work.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to assess potential challenges and logistical needs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to clarify details and align on project goals.
• Develop accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs using estimating software (OST, Quick Bid, PlanSwift, etc.).
• Research and update cost databases with the latest market trends and supplier rates.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Present clear, well-documented estimates to clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Work with procurement teams to source materials and labor at optimal pricing.
• Maintain accurate historical data and cost benchmarks for future reference.
• Recommend cost-saving alternatives or value engineering opportunities without compromising quality.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 3 years of experience estimating commercial construction projects (preferably drywall / framing).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.

Proficient in interpreting blueprints, specs, and contract documents.

Expertise in estimating software such as Bluebeam, Sage, Procore, OST, or Quick Bid.

Excellent mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to work with subcontractors and suppliers.

Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes.

Valid driver's license and willingness to visit job sites as needed.
