Description

JOB SUMMARY

This position will be directly responsible for optimal and efficient material flow and ensuring the accuracy of each material shipment, with ZERO Shipping Defects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Manage the movement of incoming and outgoing raw materials.

Verify the quantity of delivered products with the packing slip and note any discrepancies before signing for delivery. 100% accuracy is expected.

Scan all loads as required, verify accuracy, and store materials in the proper warehouse area.

Arrange shipments as needed to outside customers or offsite warehouses and complete all required paperwork.

Ensure proper labeling of all materials, including tracking partial raw material gaylords and concentrate drums.

Support production, as needed, with material handling duties.

Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse.

Participate in periodic inventories, including cycle counts.

Effectively communicate and work from verbal and written instructions.

Practice and reinforce safe work habits and company policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency.

Prior shipping / warehouse experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :

Must obtain RPS forklift credentials.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / TASKS / ABILITIES :

Must have good attendance habits that exceed current policy.

Must be willing to work overtime when required to do so.

You should be proficient in :

Excellent Communication Skills

Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Basic Computer Skills
