Apply your early childhood knowledge by training and supporting early childhood educators as an Early Learning Apprenticeship Coach!
Our agency's Child Care Resource & Referral Program offers Licensed and license-exempt child care centers and family child care programs access to a variety of free and low-cost resources to support their business and the families they serve.
The Early Learning Apprenticeship Coach provides ongoing and intensive Technical Assistance through Practice-Based Coaching and training to Early Childhood Apprentices. The Early Learning Apprenticeship Coach is focused on providing support to early childhood educators throughout the apprenticeship process by facilitating the setting of teaching practice goals, reviewing data, and altering practices to apply skills learned to achieve continuous high-quality early care and education. This position may support apprenticeship placements in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties.
Candidates must submit applications by March 6, 2025 to be considered for first-round interviews.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Human Development, Child & Family Studies, Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology). Master's Degree preferred.
- Step 10 on the Oregon Registry with coursework in early childhood development or an ability to obtain within 1 year.
- Three years of experience in an early learning program(s).
- Two years of experience providing technical assistance or training, including coaching, to early learning educators / programs or equivalent experience
