Key Responsibilities :

  • Accurately interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during virtual meetings and sessions.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while ensuring clear and effective munication between all parties.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all interpreting assignments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • Certification in ASL interpreting (RID, NAD, or equivalent) is required.
  • Proficiency in both ASL and English, with excellent munication skills.
  • Experience with virtual interpreting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and adapt to varying schedules.
  • A mitment to inclusivity and enhancing munication for all individuals.
