Bus Drivers play an important role in ensuring that people can get where they need to go safely and efficiently. They are responsible for operating a bus or other large vehicle to transport passengers, picking up and dropping them off at designated locations.

Bus Drivers must be familiar with the route they are driving and adhere to all traffic laws. Given the fact that Bus Drivers transport passengers, safety procedures and adherence to traffic laws are of paramount importance. Most cities have standard regulations and traffic laws applicable to public transportation regarding working schedules, routes, and street lanes they're allowed to transit.

In addition, Bus Drivers must maintain a clean and safe bus, making sure that passengers are comfortable and have everything they need during the ride. They may also be responsible for collecting fares and assisting passengers with any questions or concerns they have. In some cases, Bus Drivers are required to help passengers with limited mobility board or get off the vehicle using special equipment.
