About the Role
The Community Relations team within the Foundation is seeking a Business Analyst / Systems Liaison to bridge the gap between business users, third-party SaaS vendors, and internal IT teams. This individual will play a key role in configuring vendor-managed systems, gathering and analyzing requirements, advising on program enhancements, and ensuring smooth technology adoption across the Foundations initiatives.
The role is designed to transition responsibilities from a current team member approaching retirement and will require someone eager to learn, highly collaborative, and comfortable with both business process analysis and hands-on system configuration.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, SaaS vendors, and IT teams.
- Translate business requirements into functional configurations within vendor-managed systems (primarily CyberGrants by Bonterra).
- Configure, test, and maintain SaaS applications to support community relations and foundation programs.
- Partner with program owners to evaluate program effectiveness, identify process improvements, and recommend technology solutions.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify trends, support decision-making, and forecast program impact.
- Provide thought partnership and advisory input to program leaders on potential changes, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage small to mid-size initiatives end-to-end, from requirements gathering through implementation.
- Document processes, maintain system knowledge, and ensure business continuity through transitions.
- Collaborate in a lean, creative team environment that balances corporate standards with unique foundation needs.
Must-Have Qualifications
25+ years of experience in business analysis, systems configuration, or a similar role.Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, problem-solve, and creatively configure SaaS solutions.Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams.Experience working with third-party SaaS systems in a configuration capacity (not coding).Curiosity, adaptability, and a proven track record of learning new systems quickly.Corporate environment experience with comfort navigating business / IT dynamics.Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with CyberGrants by Bonterra or similar philanthropy / foundation platforms.Background in corporate foundations, community relations, or nonprofit program management.Exposure to HR, finance, or other configurable SaaS systems.Familiarity with Excel, SharePoint, and basic reporting tools.Seniority level
