Our client, a growing manufacturing operation near Stephentown, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support the production of composite components used in a variety of applications. This is a full-time, hands-on role well suited for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, learning new processes, and contributing to a quality-focused production team.

Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Technician assists with the fabrication, finishing, and inspection of composite parts. This role involves working with carbon fiber and fiberglass materials, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Training is provided for candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut carbon fiber and fiberglass materials to specification
• Perform composite lay-up operations using molds
• Trim, finish, and inspect molded composite parts
• Conduct basic troubleshooting during the production process
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow quality standards and inspection procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Cross-train to assist other departments as needed

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Problem-solving mindset with interest in process improvement
• Respectful, dependable, and safety-conscious
• Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
• Experience with composites is a plus, but training will be provided
