About The Position

🔍 Locum Hematology / Oncology Opportunity – Hartford, CT

📍  Start ASAP – Credentialing in Progress

💰  Pay Rate : $530 / hr (1099)

📋  Position Details :

🗓  Schedule : 3 clinic days / week (M–F, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM)

📞  Call : Nights 1 : 10 | Weekends 2–3 per year (light / infrequent)

🏥  Setting : Inpatient consults + Outpatient clinic

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️  Team : 10 physicians, 8 APPs

👵  Patient Population : Adults / Geriatrics only

⚕️  Mix : 80% Hematology / 20% Oncology

🚫  No Internal Medicine component

📈  Volumes : ~10 PPD (inpatient), ~15 PPD (outpatient)

🏥  Hospital : Level I Trauma

💻 EMR : Epic

📆  Credentialing Timeframe : ~130 days from offer

Job Requirements

✅ Requirements :

Board Certified in Hematology / Oncology – Required

Active CT Medical License – Required (can apply with pending licensure)

Local candidates preferred – No flight reimbursement
