• Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.\n
• Helps to develop programs identified through the Quality Improvement Process and educational needs assessment.\n
• Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental / organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies.\n
• Serves as a consultant / mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.\n
• Monitors in-service and continuing education records of staff members.\n
• Coordinates in-service educational offerings and skill days or fairs.\n
• Coordinates educational updates for "new" products and equipment used in the delivery of patient care.\n

Additional requirements include : \n
• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.\n
• Bachelors required.\n
• Masters preferred.\n
• Basic Life Support certification is required.\n
