We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead the Steve Smith Team—a leadership role designed to drive revenue, growth, and accountability while also contributing as a licensed agent.
This is a player-coach role : you’ll lead, coach, and hold agents accountable, while also maintaining an active real estate license to manage a select number of sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Accountability
- Lead, manage, and hold team members accountable for daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities.
- Set clear expectations, monitor execution, and ensure consistent lead follow-up and client service.
- Conduct 1 : 1 coaching sessions and team sales meetings.
- Partner with leadership (CEO / COO) to establish and achieve sales goals and KPIs.
Pipeline & CRM Management
Own and champion our CRM (Bold Trail) to ensure accurate tracking of leads, clients, and transactions.Oversee lead flow, assignment, and follow-up execution.Prepare weekly / monthly reports on conversion rates, pipeline progress, and agent activity.Revenue & Growth
Drive lead conversion, nurturing, and closing to achieve team revenue goals.Track and report on sales performance metrics.Support business development initiatives and leadership-level client meetings.Player-Coach Sales Contribution
Maintain an active real estate license and handle select, strategically directed sales opportunities.Model best practices in client service, negotiation, and closing.Balance personal production with team leadership responsibilities.Team & Meeting Management
Prepare and run weekly sales meetings and 1 : 1 coaching check-ins.Ensure follow-through on meeting action items and client-facing activities.Client Experience Oversight
Monitor the client journey from first contact to post-closing.Ensure consistent communication, surveys, and touch points are delivered.Step in as needed to resolve client issues.Compliance & Standards
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, state law, and industry regulations.Monitor licensing requirements and continuing education for team members.Oversee contracts, escrow, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.Collaboration & Special Projects
Partner with marketing to support lead generation and conversion.Help optimize systems, tools, and workflows for efficiency.Lead special projects related to growth initiatives and technology adoption.Qualifications
Active Indiana Real Estate Broker License with at least two years of real estate sales experienceProven track record in real estate sales and real estate sales leadershipStrong coaching, accountability, and team management skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and client service abilitiesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by resultsBenefits
