Responsibilities - Auto Body Collision Repair Technician :
- Repair damaged vehicle bodies and frames by performing tasks such as assessing damage, disassembling parts, welding new sections, filling and sanding surfaces, and applying new paint and finishes.
- Remove damaged panels, trim, and other parts; use equipment to restore and align frames; and perform structural repairs, including welding.
- Hammer out dents, patch holes, fill depressions with body filler, and sand and grind repaired surfaces to prepare them for paint.
- Mix and match paint colors and then apply primer and new finishes using a spray gun.
- Reinstall all parts, including mechanical and suspension components, and reconnect wiring harnesses.
- Inspect the final product for quality, dimensional accuracy, and appearance, and test-drive the vehicle to ensure proper alignment and handling.
- This role requires a high degree of manual dexterity, physical stamina, and knowledge of vehicle structural integrity and repair procedures.
Requirements - Auto Body Collision Repair Technician :
Required : Auto Body Collision Repair Technician experienceSolid knowledge of automotive repair techniques and tools, including expertise in using body shop equipment such as welders and frame straightening tools.Experience using various hand and power tools to remove, reshape, and install auto body parts, as well as performing welding and metalworking tasks.Ability to accurately assess vehicle body damage and develop effective repair plans to achieve optimal results.Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanshipExcellent problem-solving skills and able to work independently, demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability in overcoming challenges.Effective communication and teamwork abilities, fostering positive working relationships and collaboration within the teamValid driver's license and good driving recordFull-Time Benefits :
