Tierra Vida is a safe, resilient neighborhood providing third spaces for residents to come together and discover greater meaning and purpose in their lives while serving one another in community.

The Facility Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and upgrades that keep the interior and exterior of apartment complexes and campus wide buildings owned by Jubilee Foundation in first-rate condition as well as help provide stellar maintenance of grounds. Management may adjust work assignments as needed to meet organizational goals and operational requirements. This is a full-time position with a range of $19-21 per hour, depending on experience. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m. Schedule may shift during inclement weather to ensure safety and maintain property standards. Flexibility is essential.

• Knowledge : Demonstrate a high level of technical skill or knowledge of building maintenance and repairs; keep up with current developments and trends related to building trades.
• Problem solving : Identifies problems, determines possible solutions, and actively works to resolve issues before they become a growing concern.
• Attention to detail and coordination : Accomplish routine tasks and processes accurately and completely; follows instructions through a standard work process; checks work for accuracy before completion of tasks.
• Physical endurance : Ability to stand, lift, climb, bend, push, pull, and kneel.
• Safety and health compliance : Demonstrate an understanding of applicable policies and procedures and maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities :

HVAC : Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues including, but not limited to, heating, cooling and ventilation equipment, and perform necessary repairs.
