Description :

The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe and competent quality care.

The nurse will deliver patient care by incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care.

The nursing process will be based on theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards.

Assessing and evaluating patient care needs while applying critical thinking skills is essential.

Relevant assessment and intervention skills must be integrated into nursing care delivery.

Collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team is crucial for developing and evaluating the plan of care.

All aspects of patient care must be prioritized, including teaching, rounding, coaching, and planning after hospital care.

Effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team is required.

Assignments must be managed within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing.

The nurse will role model patient-centered care through various facilitation actions.

Consideration of the patient's values, preferences, cultural diversity, expressed needs, and knowledge is necessary in care.

Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with the patient and family is vital.

Evidence-based practices should be used to understand patients' perceptions of care.
