Aircraft Component Technician II in GAC Lincoln

The candidate should have the knowledge and education to perform electronic troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies and subassemblies by removing and replacing circuit components, either through hole or surface mount. Excellent soldering skills are required. The candidate must be flexible to work overtime, be a team player, maintain a positive attitude, and be willing to take on additional tasks as needed.
Compensation : The hourly rate ranges from $30.66 to $33.88. Final compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, experience, education, and location.
Education and Experience Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering documents, and to use precision measuring tools. Proficient in operating all departmental tools and equipment, including glass bead and carboblast machines. Basic understanding of shop math is necessary. At least 2 years of related experience in areas such as sheet metal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical / electronic harness buildup, troubleshooting electrical systems, battery servicing, or APU maintenance.
Position Purpose : Under moderate supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components following Gulfstream Repair Station standards.
