87 Acute Care Beds (incl. 9 adj. beds ICU / PCU)

Closed ICU, 7-8 ICU beds and Step Down

Codes / Rapid Response handled by ED physicians

EMR : Epic

No required procedures

GME programs Staffing Model :

12-hour shift, (7a-7p, 7p-7a)

7 on / 7off schedule

Days : 2 MDs

Nights : 1 MD on call (primary focus : on-call support for residents) Physician Qualifications :

Board Eligible or Certified in Internal or Family Medicine

Be within 7 years of graduation

Or 2 years prior hospitalist experience NP / PA Qualifications :

Board Certified as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

2 years prior hospitalist experience Benefits :

Norton Community Hospital is a 129 acute care facility. The facilityoffers an array of primary care and specialty services while thelaboratory offers extensive services, including hematology, serology,microbiology, and inpatient and outpatient pharmacies.
