Hospitalist Physician

Hospital Medical Director on the Washington Coast. Enjoy a flexible schedule- for both a 20 hour per week admin role, and 6-8 shifts per month clinical. Love the outdoors and year-round recreation? This gem of a small city with a reasonable cost of living, right on the doorstep of a top 10 National Park, was rated the best town for recreation, in the entire US! Directorship is approximately .5FTE (20 hrs / wk.). Chart review, utilization, quality improvement, coordination, scheduling. Work 6-8 clinical shifts per month, with flexibility to determine your own schedule- days, swing or nights. Hourly rate for clinical $165-180 with 15-20% premium for vacation fill-ins. Paid time off and an excellent benefits / retirement package. Thirteen full-time hospitalists on staff. Open ICU, vent management required. Opportunity to create own administrative schedule, incorporating remote work, with at least one day per week on-site. Physician will need to reside in the area- this is not a position that lends itself to traveling in ABIM Board Certification and leadership / chart review experience required.
