Pharmacist – Acute Inpatient

Role Overview

The Pharmacist will provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services in an acute care setting, supporting Emergency Department and psychiatric units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, experience in hospital pharmacy operations, and proficiency with EPIC or similar EHR systems.

Schedule & Hours

• Hours per Week: 37.5
• Hours per Day: 7.5
• Days per Week: 5
• Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every weekend (two consecutive days off: Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday)
• Training: Two weeks, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes EPIC training)

Practice Setting

• Acute inpatient hospital environment
• Coverage includes Emergency Department and Psychiatry

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience
• Active NYSED Pharmacist license (required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (required)

Compensation

• Travel Rates:
• $102.71/hour ($3,594.96 per week)
• $105.71/hour ($3,699.96 per week)
• Local Rate: $90–$92 per hour
