Manager, Corporate Communications, Pharmacy Services

CVS Health, the leading health solutions company, and CVS Caremark, a business unit of CVS Health, is seeking a Manager of Communications to join our team in support of the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) business unit as an individual contributor. This position will support the creation and execution of internal and external communications to help meet CVS Health's PBM business objectives. Reporting to the Director, CVS Caremark Communications, the ideal candidate will have five years of experience in corporate communications or a related field, with a proven track record of supporting content creation, executive communications, message development, and issues management. This role will involve budget management and project tracking, providing an excellent opportunity to work on various projects across the team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the creation of compelling content for internal and external communications, including presentations, talking points, briefing documents, press releases, newsletters, social media posts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop key messages that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Assist in managing issues and crisis communications, ensuring timely and effective responses to potential challenges.
  • Oversee budget management for communication initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Track and report on project progress, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Participate in various projects across the communications team, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role at a company in-house or a PR agency.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with budget management and project tracking tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Knowledge of issues management and crisis communication strategies is a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in PBM and / or healthcare industry communications.
  • Anticipated Weekly Hours : 40

    Time Type : Full time

    Pay Range : The typical pay range for this role is : $66,330.00 - $145,860.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
