Job Description

At VOGO Cabinets, we bring design visions to life through custom cabinetry and architectural millwork that blend timeless craftsmanship with modern innovation. We are seeking a Designer / Project Manager who is passionate about design, detail, and delivering one-of-a-kind interiors for discerning clients. This is a rare opportunity to grow your career with a company that values creativity, precision, and excellence at every step.

About the Role

In this role, you will be the bridge between design inspiration and flawless execution. From concept through installation, you will oversee custom cabinetry and millwork projects, leading both the creative design process and the project management lifecycle. You will guide high-end projects from initial client consultation through shop drawings, production coordination, and on-site installation - helping transform ideas into exceptional living spaces that exceed client expectations.

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive designer who thrives on collaboration and enjoys building strong partnerships with clients, architects, interior designers, and builders. If you’re someone who wakes up excited to solve design challenges, lead luxury projects, and see your work come to life in stunning custom homes and commercial properties, this position will provide these career opportunities.

What You’ll Do

Project Management

  • Lead projects as VOGO’s primary point of contact for clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring design, production, and installation milestones are met.
  • Coordinate site visits, field checks, and installation logistics to ensure seamless execution.
  • Track progress using company systems, keeping all teams aligned and informed.
  • Anticipate project challenges and proactively resolve them to maintain quality and efficiency.

Design

  • Translate architectural plans and creative concepts into functional, buildable designs.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, builders, and interior designers to develop cabinetry and millwork that reflect both beauty and precision.
  • Create sophisticated, tailored millwork solutions—from kitchens and libraries to unique built-ins—that balance innovation with timeless craftsmanship.
  • Produce accurate 3D models (Microvellum and AutoCAD / BricsCAD) and generate shop drawings for client approval and fabrication.
  • Select and specify the right materials, finishes, and hardware to achieve luxury results.
  • Ensure design intent is practical for manufacturing while staying true to aesthetic and functional goals.
  • What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in custom cabinetry and architectural millwork design, with a proven track record managing complex, high-end projects.
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microvellum (or similar 3D modeling platform).
  • Proficiency with BricsCAD (preferred) or AutoCAD.
  • In-depth knowledge of cabinet construction, woodworking practices, materials, and hardware.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for both client-facing collaboration and internal coordination.
  • Ability to travel within the greater Denver area for client meetings and site measures.
  • Why Join VOGO Cabinets?

At VOGO, you’ll be part of a culture rooted in quality craftsmanship and design excellence. We believe in empowering our team to take ownership of their projects, push creative boundaries, and see their work installed in some of the most beautiful homes and high-end commercial projects in the region. With us, your work won’t just be drawings on paper—you’ll see it come alive in exceptional custom spaces that inspire clients every day.
