About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 2 years in Med Surg, Med Tele, or IMCU capacity

License : Active state nursing license

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Must-Have :

• EPIC experience
• Experience administering Heparin and Insulin
• Previous travel contract completed within the last 12 months

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

You will utilize the nursing process to ensure high-quality patient care.

The patient population will include Med Surg, Rehab, and Behavioral Health.

You will float across general Med Surg, Rehab, and Behavioral Health units as needed.

Ratios on the unit are typically 1 : 4-5.

You are required to work every other weekend and participate in the holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include administering medications and managing patient care effectively.

Candidates must be willing to adhere to all unit protocols and policies.

Engagement in continuous learning and collaboration with team members is expected.

You will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and provide compassionate care.
