The Senior Consultant, Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing Solutions is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing training and consulting opportunities with manufacturing clients seeking operational improvement.
Utilizing expertise in workforce development and change management, this role consults closely with clients to assess their technical, compliance, and organizational needs and recommends customized training and consulting solutions aligned with their strategic objectives.
The consultant nurtures trusted client relationships, partners with subject matter experts to deliver tailored service offerings and ensures a smooth implementation and post-engagement support. This position requires consultative selling skills, strong communication abilities, and proven success in selling professional services to the manufacturing industry.
The potential minimum compensation for this position begins at $101,000.00 and is commensurate with education and experience.

Principal Accountabilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities for training and consulting services with manufacturing clients, leveraging industry knowledge and networksConduct needs assessments to understand client challenges in workforce development, compliance, productivity, or process improvementPresent tailored training and consulting solutions, demonstrating ROI and alignment with client goalsManage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing dealsMaintain and grow long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and repeat businessCollaborate with delivery and subject matter teams to ensure accurate solution design and client transitionTrack market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies within engineering and manufacturing trainingReport on activity, pipeline, and performance metrics using relevant CRM and reporting toolsAlign work with the Workforce Development Strategic PlanEnsure close alignment with key manufacturing focused organizationsRequirements
Minimum of a bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferredDegree in engineering, business, or a related technical field preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience requiredStrong consultative and solution-selling skills specific to training and professional services requiredIn-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, compliance, and workforce development challengesExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience managing full sales cycles in B2B, preferably within advanced engineering or manufacturing settingsAbility to work collaboratively with internal trainers, consultants, and client-facing teamsFamiliarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) preferredJ-18808-Ljbffr
