Dual Sales Manager
The Dual Sales Manager drives revenue growth and executes sales strategies under the direction of the properties Director of Sales. This position is responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and supporting sales initiatives across multiple hotel properties within the Lodging Dynamics portfolio.
Primary duties consist of performing office or non-manual work directly related to management or general business operations. Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
Essential Job Functions
- Executes Sales strategies developed by each Director of Sales to achieve individual and property revenue targets.
- Manages and grows a portfolio of key corporate accounts, group clients, and travel partners.
- Develops new business relationships through prospecting, cold calling, and networking activities.
- Conducts site inspections, client presentations, and proposal development for potential group business.
- Negotiates contracts and rates within established parameters and Company guidelines.
- Identifies and pursues new market opportunities in assigned segments including corporate, group, and leisure travel.
- Builds and maintains relationships with meeting planners, travel agents, and corporate travel managers.
- Participates in trade shows, sales missions, and industry events to promote portfolio properties.
- Collaborates with property teams to ensure seamless execution of group events and corporate programs.
- Serves as a liaison between area leadership and individual properties to ensure consistent execution of Sales strategies.
- Works closely with each Director of Sales to implement Sales initiatives across multiple properties.
- Provides Sales support to individual properties when needed, including on-site assistance during peak periods.
- Maintains accurate records in Sales systems and provides regular activity reports.
- Tracks personal sales performance against established goals and key performance indicators.
- Monitors market trends and competitive activities within assigned territory.
- Prepares Sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for the Sales Director review.
- Participates in weekly Sales meetings and monthly business reviews.
- Assists with development of Sales strategies and tactical plans.
- Attendance is a key component of this position.
- Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with Company standards; wears the appropriate uniform or attire.
- Maintains open and effective communication with team members and management.
- Attends and participates in team meetings.
- Adheres to established safety and emergency procedures and protocols, this includes Company, federal, and state specific regulations and guidelines.
- Completes all required Company training / compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent in related field.Experience
A minimum three (3) years of experience in related field required.No supervisory experience required.Skills & Abilities
