Job Description

Veolia Water Tech has an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated EHS professional to join our team as the CSM (Chemical Solutions and Monitoring) Fixed Facility EHS Leader. This position is a vital member of an interactive and supportive team responsible for providing comprehensive EHS leadership, guidance, support, and execution specifically for our fixed facility operations.

The role requires a seasoned EHS professional with the expertise to identify and implement compliant, practical, cost-effective, and safe solutions that protect our employees, operations, and the environment. As the EHS leader for our fixed facilities, you will oversee critical safety aspects of chemical production, chemical blending, chemical storage, laboratory processes, manage EHS compliance for wastewater treatment and neutralization systems, and develop essential protocols such as traffic management for facility operations.

This position demands both technical proficiency and influential leadership capabilities. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and facility leadership teams to build and sustain a robust EHS culture throughout our fixed facility operations. Your responsibilities encompass conducting facility inspections, assisting in hazardous operations reviews, driving continuous process improvement initiatives and PSM (Process Safety Management) requirements.

Additional Information

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range : $115,000-$135,000 (USD); 110,000-135,000 (CAD) annually.
