Wieland is hiring a Production Planner. The Production Planner will be responsible for maintaining and executing production schedules that align with customer demand with internal capacities. The Production Planner will collaborate closely with procurement, operations, and sales teams to ensure efficient use of resources, timely delivery, and cost-effective production. This role is located in Wheeling, IL and will be fully on-site.

Base Salary Range : $75,000-$88,000

May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle.

Responsibilities

Production Planner Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain internal bill of materials and routings to ensure customer specifications.

• Fine plan customer orders to ensure On Time Delivery
• Assess production capacity and adjust schedules to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure that Pre & Finish Good Materials come in on time.
• Collaborate with production team to address any issues or delays in the production process.
• Monitor and record whether the production schedule is being followed, noting any deviations, delays, or changes to production timelines.
• Identify and verify discrepancies while maintaining accuracy in inventory.
• Support additional supply chain tasks as assigned by management
