As a Security Professional - Logistics Patrol in Olathe, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a logistics and distribution location. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and conducting regular patrols. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PMSun06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the logistics and distribution location, reporting any unusual situations or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing security-related duties.
  • Complete written and / or electronic reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site protocols for handling security-related matters and emergencies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
