Responsibilities Work in the acute care Operating Room setting Unit features 7 OR suites handling 15 cases per day Common procedures include orthopedics (total joints, sports medicine, hands, podiatry), general, plastics, urology, GYN, ENT, and eye surgeries Evening shift, 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm, Monday through Friday with required call Weekend, holiday, and call requirements with 45-minute response time May float to other operating rooms as needed Uses Epic EMR system with prior experience required Hospital provides OR scrubs Primary responsibilities include circulating a range of surgical cases with emphasis on orthopedics Work collaboratively with a team that includes OR techs and support staff 3-4 days of department-specific orientation provided Free parking available to staff Hospital provides all required OR attire Holiday coverage is required as part of the schedule Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS certification required Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required Ability to circulate orthopedic operating room cases required Experience with various specialties including ortho, eyes, general, plastics, urology, GYN, and ENT required Previous hands-on experience with Epic EMR required Must provide two references : one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years with employment dates and rehire eligibility Copy of valid driver's license required Candidates must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit (including CHI and Dignity) in the past year Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627210.
