Join a respected, private physician group in Hickory, NC . Were seeking a dedicated and experienced physician to serve as Medical Director and attending for our inpatient rehab unit. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead clinical efforts while working in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary environment focused on patient-centered outcomes.

Position Highlights

• Serve as attending physician for inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Monday-Friday daytime schedule, 40-hour workweek
• Oversee admissions, discharges, consults, and daily progress notes
• Average daily census of 16 patients, max of 20 beds
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and family conferences
• Collaborate with the Program Director to oversee clinical performance and quality metrics
