We are seeking a dynamic and experienced accountant to join our growing team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial and accounting activities. You will be a key player in ensuring financial integrity, preparing financial reports, and implementing financial strategies. Your role will also involve the use of Accounting ERP, retail accounting, and ERP Implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within our organization, where your contributions will have a significant impact on our overall financial success.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
• Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation
• Participate in the ongoing development / establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
• Collaborate with external auditors and HR for comprehensive audits of company's financial status, payroll, and regulatory compliance
• Conduct regular ledger processes, prepare financial reports, and reconcile invoices
• Implement and monitor the ERP system and other accounting systems and software
• Analyze financial data and create monthly reports to present to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and implement financial strategies, as well as contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management level to align financial management with short and long-term financial planning and projections
